Tokyo

Where to begin? Everyone knows of Tokyo, but few realize all the hidden gems lying within this metropolis. Don’t be put off by its size. For a city so large, it’s surprisingly easy to navigate due to its world beating transportation system. Tokyo offers something for everyone from ultra high end shopping, to traditional shrines, to high rise observation platforms to immersive techno museums unlike anywhere else in the world.

Yet amongst the tens of millions, you can quickly find yourself on a quiet alley lined with coffee shops or small parks filled with Ginko and Cherry Trees in season. There is simply so much to do in Tokyo that you’ll never see it all in a dozen lifetimes. One of our favorite activities is taking one of the Tokyo Water Taxis for a spin. You can take them from point A to B or just use them as your private tour boat. Best of all, not too many visitors know about this option for getting around. Just one of the many surprises in store which Tokyo offers to those looking for the hidden places of Japan.

Another surprise in the heart of the city are the many lush garden terraces built as part of the many mixed used developments that dot the city. You can very often find these hidden gems in office buildings and shopping areas, where they look out over the cityscape below, yet you are above the crowds in your own little world. These and others provide places to kick back and relax away from all the people.

We could go on and on about Tokyo, but you’ll just have to revisit the blog and check for additional videos as we’ll never be able to cover it all.
