Osaka EXPO 2025 Is Here!

This will be the biggest event in all of Japan in 2025.  Its Osaka Expo 2025 and it has been twenty years since the last time an expo was held in Japan, and likely another twenty years till the next.  Therefore, if you are visiting Japan, you simply must include a visit to Expo 2025.  There is nothing else like it, not only in Japan, but in the world this year!  Click here to see our full preview video.

Osaka Expo 2025 is a $1.5 Billion investment featuring pavilions from 160 countries and corporations showcasing their culture, innovation and arts to the world, all in one place.  It is located on Yumeshima Island in Osaka Bay, not far from Universal Studios Japan.  This is a manmade island of more than 900 acres and Expo 2025 occupies 383 of those acres.  This is HUGE!

The expo features the largest wooden structure in the world; the Grand Ring or Grand Roof as it is called.  The Japanese are known for their exquisite woodworking skills, and they are on full display at Expo 2025.  The Grand Ring stretches more than 1.25 miles in circumference and is over is nearly 2,000 feet across.  It stands 20 to 30 feet high and provides an aerial walkway and garden for viewing the expo and Osaka Bay.  There is simply nothing like it in the world.

The variety of country pavilions is staggering, with each one being unique.  In addition to the country pavilions, there will be corporate pavilions in which companies such as Mitsubishi, Toyota, Hitachi and more showcase the latest innovations in technology.  This is not like a fair or amusement park with thrill rides, but rather more like Disneyworld’s Epcot, showcasing futuristic ideas and design.  There will be concerts and of course foods to sample from the various countries.

Click here to watch our video and stay tuned as there is more to follow.  We will be attending shortly after the opening day of April 13th and reporting back.  But get your tickets now because Osaka Expo 2025 ends on October 13th.  This is truly a once in a lifetime event for many of us.
