This week we had the privilege of showcasing Uncharted Japan at the Southeastern US/Japan Conference. This is an annual conference in which seven southern states come together to foster business relationships with their Japanese counterparts. Included in the list of attendees were the governors of NC and SC along with the Japanese Ambassador to the United States and numerous economic development offices. Captains of industry included Presidents and CEOs of companies such as Japan Airlines, Honda Jet, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Boeing, Mitsubishi, Toyota, etc. It was an humbling experience for our small start up, Uncharted Japan, LLC to even be there, but there we were!
While there, we presented the opportunity for one person to win two 7-Day JR Rail Passes, and with this post, we are announcing the winner. The JR Rail Pass allows travelers unlimited rides on any of the Japan Railways lines throughout Japan including the iconic Shinkansen or “Bullet Train” along with local trains, subways, buses and even some ferries. Its an amazing way to see Japan, traveling at 170+ MPH on the Shinkansen!
