On our recent trip to Japan, we took along with us some goodies from back home. Near to where we live is a special bakery, Go-Go’s Cinnamon Rolls owned by Wendy Lewis. Our son absolutely loves her cinnamon rolls so much that he’s having them served at his upcoming wedding reception! So Josephine and I thought, “Why not take a couple of cinnamon rolls with us to Japan and give a shout out to Wendy and the crew?” And that’s what we did!
We picked up a couple. Grabbed a flat pack pink box then froze them and stuck into our carry on luggage. Got them past some suspecting TSA personnel who’d have liked to have confiscated them to eat, then flew them nearly 7,000 miles across the Pacific Ocean to Japan! Upon arriving in Yokohama we took them out and enjoyed them by the waterfront. Nothing like a comforting taste of home while in a foreign land, right?
